Leslie Ruhland is the Executive Vice President of Accuchex Corporation which provides payroll and HR solutions to employers nationwide. Along with her husband, Jim, she co-founded Accuchex in 1990 and has continued with the company actively leading the business development efforts, expanding the sales team and forging strategic alliances.

Leslie, a Marin County native, has traveled extensively with her family, spending several years living in South Africa. After college, Leslie began her business career energized by the outdoor life in Aspen, Colorado where she founded and operated High Altitude Cuisine, Inc. a highly regarded restaurant and catering business. She later returned to her native San Francisco Bay Area to manage numerous new restaurant openings for several hospitality chains.

In addition to parenting three children and sailing her Beneteau with family, Leslie is active in her personal life with the San Francisco Yacht Club, having served two terms on the Auxiliary Board as Treasurer and currently chairing the Entertainment Committee. She consistently works to help raise funds to support competitive & educational sailing for women & children.

Leslie’s active schedule includes sitting on several business and community boards. She has been a director of the San Rafael Chamber of Commerce for a number of years and has served on several key committees including Governmental Affairs, Workforce Housing and is the current chair of the San Rafael/Marin Leadership Institute. Leslie was appointed to the County Workforce Investment Board in 2007 and continues to serve today.
